Our provider, Dr. Jolene Thweatt, is a highly skilled and experienced family nurse practitioner who is dedicated to providing the best possible care to our patients.
ABOUT DR. JOLENE............
"I am a very proud mother of 4 boys who are my life. My husband, a journeyman lineman for IBEW local 769, has been the biggest support for our family and my practice. Our children Cole, 26 and Preston, 25, are both in the line trade for IBEW Local 769. Waylon 16 is a wrestler for his high school and wants to be a Lineman and UFC fighter. Daniel, 15 is on his highschool's swim team and highly intelligent. I can see him being an engineer in nuclear power when he is older.
We believe in Jesus Christ, our 2nd Amendment, the nuclear family, and live by conservative values. The American flag is on a lighted pole in the front yard 365 days a year and we support our military and our 45th and 47th President.
I have 4 sisters and an Army Veteran brother who all live between West Virginia, Mississippi, and Ohio. My parents passed away at ages 59 and 66 which changed my beliefs in the medical system. My father Joe died from lung cancer and mother Lou-Robin died from mixed drug intoxication. These two very different causes of death changed how I viewed "doctors" and it opened my eyes to Medicine actually causing disease, not curing it. Ironically, it has been a blessing because their deaths have protected me from easily becoming part of what is broken in Western Medicine.
I love being a nurse practitioner in primary care and I love being able to do it the "right" way. I truly believe that medicine is as basic as the right for us to be healthy and protected by nature.
